This past month, I had another great foodie penpal. Natalie sent me a box of goodies from Seattle, WA! I came home after a long Tuesday at the office to find my box on the porch, and I was so excited to find out what was inside. (The day my fpp package arrives is always exciting!)
Natalie sent me a box filled with lots of healthy and tasty snacks. I have pretty much ate my way through the box now, and I have liked everything. I tasted the dates, and I wasn't a fan of them alone but they are great mixed in salads. She also told me she used them in homemade peanut butter, so I might try that too! The box included things I have had before, and also some new things (for me). I am now a big fan of the buddy fruits! They might be targeted for kiddos (which is why I had never had them before), but us adults can enjoy them too. ;) The package from Natalie included:
- Aunnie's Cheddar Bunnies
- Snackimals (these were great cinnamonish animal crackers!)
- dried apple crisps
- popcorn from Starbucks
- LUNA bar- lemon zest
- Cliff Bar- white chocolate macadamia nut
- all natural fruit strips - grape
- dates
- buddy fruits- orange fruit snacks and a raspberry coconut milk squeez
- assorted hot teas
Thank you Natalie for all of my goodies! It was a great FPP package that I really enjoyed!
I sent a package this month to Pattie in Illinois. You can check out her blog, and see what I sent her way here.
